M+W Process Automation GmbH takes a majority shareholding in Teufel Software GmbH
M+W Process Automation GmbH (formerly Lang und Peitler Automation GmbH) has acquired 70% of the shares in Teufel Software GmbH, a SAP systems house for medium-sized manufacturing companies and an SAP Gold Partner.
The shares were acquired on Monday, 18.01.2010, with the management of Teufel Software GmbH continuing to hold on to 30% of shares. It was agreed that the purchase price should be kept secret.
Pooling of the competencies of the two companies offers the customer a comprehensive and unique combination of integrated solutions for corporate-wide automation. This ranges from controlling the production/controls processes and operational management/MES level (order administration, data entry and analysis) right through to corporate management level/ERP systems (accounting, logistics, HR management) and enables true vertical integration from a single source and without interfaces.
