M+W Zander grants awards to suppliers

"Partnership Award" goes to six companies

Engineering company M+W Zander FE GmbH Europe made awards to partner-companies for the second time in a ceremony held today. The six companies from different sectors received the 'Supplier Partnership Award 2007' for outstanding punctuality, dependability and exemplary cooperation in European plant construction projects.

The companies receiving awards for 2007 are as follows:

• AEK GmbH (Automation Elektro Kreuzpointner),
• AON Jauch&Hübener GmbH,
• AREVA T&D Energietechnik GmbH,
• Heinz Lange Bauunternehmen GmbH,
• Kurz Korrosions- und Oberflächenschutz GmbH
• Millner & Partner GmbH,

Last year, M+W Zander FE GmbH placed orders with subcontractors amounting to 300 million euros and mainly used European companies. Around 1000 European companies are stored in the pool of suppliers. However, some 60 percent of the order volume went to the 46 main suppliers, which included the companies receiving the awards.
